About the course

Our Computer Science degree is aimed at students who wish to gain a sound overall knowledge of the principles and uses of modern computer systems. Computer Science graduates will have both theoretical and practical understanding of systems, varying in scale from a single workstation to the Internet. This will be underpinned by well-developed software engineering skills and understanding of the mathematical principles underlying computation, including modelling, correctness, algorithm design and complexity.

The course can be extended to four years incorporating an industrial placement or study abroad.
