Chartered Engineering Status
All of our degree courses are accredited by the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) or the Energy Institute (EI), the professional bodies associated with the discipline with the exception of our MEng, BEng Petroleum Engineering degree course which is currently seeking accreditation from the IChemE.
This will help you to become a Chartered Engineer (CEng) after graduation. Once you have graduated with your MEng degree, you will usually be required to have a minimum of three years industrial experience before you can apply for your chartered status. If you graduate with a BEng degree you will be required to undertake further study, usually whilst working.
