Dates: 30/31st of August & 1st of September, 2011
Location: Leeds, UK
Hosted by: The School of Process, Environmental and Materials Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Leeds University on behalf of the UK Committee for Heat Transfer.
Introduction
The Twelfth UK National Heat Transfer Conference will be held in Leeds, UK.
Abstracts are invited on all topics in heat transfer: conduction/convection/radiation, boiling and condensation, heat exchangers, enhancement, nano-fluids, micro-channels, fouling, measurements whether experimental and/or theoretical including CFD, and applications: process engineering, power generation including nuclear and CCS, refrigeration and heat pumps, fuel cells, environmental and low grade heat recovery. The aim is to ensure that this will be an informal and lively event allowing time for the exchange of information across all sectors. Graduate students and others at early stages in their careers in heat transfer are particularly encouraged to attend. This will be an excellent opportunity to present your own work and to meet others active in the field. The final versions of all accepted papers will be published on a CD.
The conference is co-sponsored by the Institutions of Chemical and Mechanical Engineers (UK), the Heat Transfer Society and the International Centre for Heat and Mass Transfer
