This course will provide a grounding in orthopaedic finite element applications including the basic components of the method, project planning and work flow, and the state-of-the-art in computational orthopaedic research.
Active research in areas such as wear prediction and patient-specific modelling will be described, along with the relevance of finite element analysis to current regulatory processes.
An example course programme is available in the left hand column.
