30.11.2011 - The Research Finance Office will be closed Tuesday 6th December. All members of staff will be attending the Research & Innovation Annual Conference.

12.04.2011 - Amy Scott will be leaving the Faculty Research Office on 20 April, to take up a position in LIMM, Faculty of Medicine. We wish to congratulate Amy on her promotion and wish her the best of luck in both her new role and her continuing ACCA training.

25.10.2010 - From immediate effect, all proposals submitted to EPSRC should be in font size 11. This change is a result of the Research Councils harmonising on parts of their grant processing. Please refer to the guidance on Je-S when applying to EPSRC which states which types of fonts you should be using.
25.05.2010 - The Royal Society has written advising of the proposed changes to University Research Fellowships and Dorothy Hodgkin Fellowship. All of these changes will be highlighted in the scheme notes for the next round to ensure that all applicants and the Research Offices of Universities are aware of them.
21.05.2010 - An ‘impact plan’ of up to 2 pages is now required as part of your EPSRC research proposal. In order to assist with your impact plan here are some notes and Guidance.

05.10.2009 - Dr. Karen Steenson has recently been appointed the Faculty's Research Project Development Manager. Karen is responsible for developing and facilitating collaborative inter/multi-disciplinary research projects across the faculty , supporting academic colleagues in the development and preparation of grant applications. 28.08.2009 - Congratulations to Amy Scott who is now fully AAT qualified having passed her AAT Technician course. Amy is will now undertake the ACCA program.
