The School of Mechanical Engineering has achieved an impressive 75% of sta ff rated internationally excellent or world leading in the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise (RAE).
Our high ratings mean that we can attract the best staff and can invest to provide excellent laboratory facilities. This benefits all of our activity from undergraduate and postgraduate teaching to research and knowledge transfer.
