Publications

The School of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Leeds is one of the UK's premier engineering research institutions. We have consistently been ranked at the highest level in all of the UK Government Research Assessment Exercises to date. In 2001 we were given a 5** rating in the 2001 Research Assessment Exercise, a distinction awarded to only five Mechanical Engineering departments in the UK. All academic staff within the School are active in research, and our annual research spend is over £2 million.
