The posts are available immediately to join the large and vibrant School of Mechanical Engineering at Leeds which has consistently achieved the highest ranking in the HEFCE Research Assessment Exercise, leading to the current 5** rating. You will contribute to this research strength by developing your existing interests in an area that complements at least one of our strategic themes in Engineering Systems and Design, namely, design systems, rehabilitation technologies, affective engineering, energy efficient vehicles and design optimisation. You will take a lead role in the teaching of engineering design and manufacture on our accredited engineering degree programmes. You will also contribute, as appropriate, to the academic management and out-reach activities of the School.
