Open Days

One of the best ways to get a feel for our campus is by coming to one of our open days. During the day you will be able to explore the campus and facilities, meet our current students and attend subject specific talks from the staff who will be teaching you.

Our next Undergraduate pre-application Open Days will be on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 June.

To register to attend please complete the online form.

Schools within the Faculty of Engineering will offer a variety of activities including drop-in sessions, talks, tours and demonstrations. Details of the activities happening are listed below so you can plan your day or download a copy of the guide. You don't need to print it out, as you'll be given a copy on the day.

- Aviation Technology
- Chemical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Computing
- Electronic and Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Nanotechnology
- Product Design

If you are unable to attend any of the dates in June you will be pleased to know there are two more Open Days taking place on Saturday 14 September and Saturday 12 October 2013. For more information about our Open Days visit www.leeds.ac.uk/opendays.

After you have applied

Once you have applied, you will be invited to one of our applicant days (usually between November and March) as part of the application process. The applicant days are very different from the general university open days you may have attended.

Our applicant days are course-specific and feature presentations, taster lectures, group tasks, demonstrations, a tour, and the chance to speak to current students and staff. Overall the applicant days are a great opportunity for you to learn more about your course and the School you’ll study in.

Throughout the year we exhibit at a number of higher education UCAS fairs in the UK.
