Alumni Bursary
| This is a bursary for any former student (and for children of former students) of the University of Leeds studying for a postgraduate qualification in the Faculty of Engineering. Excluding courses that are run in conjunction with other universities. This bursary is open to students who are commencing their studies from September 2013 and can not be awarded retrospectively. | |
| Who is eligible? | This is an automatic bursary but you have to inform us and provide evidence that you or a parent/step-parent are former students of the University of Leeds. |
| How much is it worth? | The University will pay 10% of your fees for each year of the course. If no fees paid then no bursary is awarded. |
| Application deadline | None – automatic. If you think you are eligible you need to contact the relevant admissions team for the course you have applied for. |

When to pay
Fees must be paid in full before you can register as a postgraduate student, unless you are paying the fees yourself. If you are self-financing you can pay fees in two instalments, the first payable at registration.
If you are supported by your government, employer, or other sponsor, you should provide a letter from them addressed to the University, confirming that the fees will be paid directly. Sponsors cannot pay by instalments.
