Engineering Research & Innovation Service (ERIS)

We are a specialist team whose role is to promote and support transfer of University engineering expertise and knowledge into industry and other external organisations.

We will partner with you to help you achieve your vision. Our service can identify appropriate research partners and help you to source grant funding that may be available for collaborative projects.

Companies/organisations can:

• Participate in targeted enabling research (RCUK, CASE)
• Collaborate in applied research or pre-commercial product development (KTP, EU FP, TSB, others)
• Access specific technical expertise for contract research, short courses or consultancy
• Obtain fast track access to skilled students and graduates
• Licence software, technologies, methodologies

We are growing our external relationships to help us to commercialise, apply and exploit our knowledge, assets, expertise and technology; and to collaborate on developing the technology of the future.
