Over the next ten years, global and European energy investments in the order of £4.3 trillion and over £1 trillion are needed, respectively, both to diversify existing resources and replace equipment and to cater for challenging and changing energy requirements.

Moving to a green economy therefore presents huge opportunities for British businesses, not only to reduce their environmental impact, but also to transform products and services, develop cleaner technologies, and capture new international markets.
