Our personal tutorial system will help you to integrate quickly and settle down easily into university life. You will also be assigned to a tutorial group and you’ll have one-to-one time with your personal tutor.

The School has an enviable range of multimillion pound facilities equipped with the latest technology which provides you with a creative and stimulating learning environment. Specialist facilities include:

• New Agilent Technologies Wireless Communications Laboratory, equipped with the very latest state-of-the-art electronic teaching equipment comprising of Agilent’s bench top spectrum analysers, signal generators and 6000 series Scopes. You will also have the opportunity to work on communications systems up to 3 GHz and use the Agilent’s leading edge Vector Signal Analysis software package for learning about modern standards such as Zigbee, WiMAX, GSM, WiFi
• New embedded systems laboratory equipped with the latest embedded system development tools sponsored by Farnell First-class

• Home to one of the most high-resolution electron-beam lithography systems in Europe
