Chartered Engineer Status
All of our degree courses are accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and our Mechatronics and Robotics degree course is jointly accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and the IET.
This will help you to become a Chartered Engineer (CEng) after graduation. Once you have graduated with your MEng degree, you will usually be required to have a minimum of three years industrial experience before you can apply for your chartered status. If you graduate with a BEng degree you will be required to undertake further study, usually whilst working.

We are currently seeking accreditation for the MEng, BEng Electronics and Renewable Energy Systems degree course.
