About us
The School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering has over 100 years experience in both world class research and teaching and is the top electronic and electrical engineering department in the UK.
The School is home to two research institutes:
Strength in research ensures our undergraduate, taught postgraduate masters and postgraduate research degree programmes are at the forefront of knowledge and thinking.
We have a range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees covering electronic and electrical engineering and communications engineering.
Staff in the School are supportive and student-focused, well-connected nationally and internationally, within academia and industry, bringing a richness to our degree programmes and our teaching.

Based on the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise (RAE), with a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.05, and an overwhelming 80% of staff rated internationally excellent or World leading.
