Welcome to e-Engineering!

Welcome to the second edition of e-Engineering - the Faculty of Engineering's online undergraduate research journal. The papers in this journal have been written by students who are in their third or fourth year of study.

The students have made a fantastic effort in preparing their papers for publication and I owe each one of them, particularly those who returned to their studies to write papers even after they had graduated, an immense 'thank you' for their help and cooperation. We wish our contributors success and good luck in the future.

Many thanks are also due to the supervisors and industrial sponsors who have been involved in the projects. The projects could not happen without them.
