Facilities
Our facilities comprise a large range of instruments for the characterisation of colloidal and polymeric systems including:
- Atomic Force Microscopes
- Optical Reflectometer and Quartz Crystal Microbalance
- Rheometers
- Light Scattering Techniques
- Compression Rigs
A large part of our instrumentation is jointly owned with our close collaborators that offer particulate materials characterisation to the industry, description of the techniques can be found on their

We also have access to all facilities within the faculty of engineering, including a leading research centre in Microscopic and Spectroscopic Characterization of solid materials which can be found
