Course Aims

This course is intended to provide a thorough grounding in all aspects of Clinical Nutrition and will appeal to Clinician, Dieticians, Hospital Pharmacists, Nursing Staff, Nutritionists and others with interests in patient nutrition.

Course Venue

The course will be held entirely in the Clinical Sciences Building, St. James's University Hospital, Leeds.

Accreditation

The Leeds Course in Clinical Nutrition has been approved by the Royal College of Physicians for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) purposes. This course would count as 18 external, clinical CPD credits.

This course has also been approved by the British Dietetic Association (BDA) for CPD.

Accommodation

Bed and breakfast accommodation is available at the University of Leeds Halls of Residence at £50 per night. Return coach transportation to St. James from the University accommodation each day is included for resident delegates. Further details and prices can be found in the PDF course brochure above.

Exhibition and Sponsorship Opportunities

The Leeds course in Clinical Nutrition will run for the 28th year in September 2010. Previous courses have been extremely successful and well received by around 100 delegates annually who have attended from all over the UK and from overseas. The participants are mainly medical practitioners, pharmacists, dieticians, senior nurses and nutritionists. There is a large purpose built suite with excellent facilities for display stands and opportunities to meet and interact with delegates. Spaces are still available, companies wishing to exhibit or sponsor a Guest lecture should contact the CPD Course Co-ordinator as soon as possible.
