However, to ensure that you can take your research further, you will find state-of-the-art graphics and visualisation laboratories, including a 53-megapixel powerwall and a 3D virtual reality suite.

We are part of the White Rose University Consortium (WRUC) – a partnership consisting of three Yorkshire universities – that allows our computer science department to access the White Rose Grid, a major research infrastructure with unparalleled computing power.

To complement our array of state-of-the-art technology, our computer science department will also provide you with the same facilities expected at most universities. We have access to an extensive library with over three million items. This makes it one of the largest in the UK.
