FACULTY OF ENGINEERING

Undergraduate Study - Open Days

Before You Apply

The University has a number of general University Open Days. On these dates the School of Computing will schedule a number of talks and drop-in sessions so that you can find out more about the courses and facilities before you apply. If you are not able to visit on Open Days you could book a campus visit where you will be shown around the University. This does not, however, guarantee that someobody will be available in any department. If you do need advice from the admission team, please contact us directly to arrange a visit or let us know when your campus tour has been arranged.

After you have Applied

We typically ask applicants to attend an informal interview before we offer them a place. The purpose of this is for you to gain an impression of student life at Leeds and for us to assess your suitability for the course. On the same afternoon we will make a presentation and there will be opportunities for you to learn more about the degree programmes, inspect and use the computer facilities, and tour the campus. You will also have an opportunity to talk to both staff and students in the School.
