Submitting your comments on AP230
The AP working draft will be published on this website in three stages:
Stage 1 The (fairly) non-technical sections of the initial working draft (comprising Forward, Introduction, Clause 1 "Scope", Clause 2 "Normative References", Clause 3 "Definitions", Clause 4 (preamble) "Information Requirements", Sub-clause 4.1 Units of Functionality, and Annex F "Application Activity Model").
Stage 2 The remaining, more technical, sections of the initial working draft (comprising Sub-clause 4.2 Application Objects, Sub-clause 4.3 Application Assertions, Clause 6 "Conformance Classes, and Annex G "Application Reference Model").
Stage 3 Clause 4 of the validation report - which will complete the "Group one documentation".
The material relating to these three stages will first appear as follows:
All this material will be updated on a regular basis as the project progresses, and new materials will appear as AP230 goes foward to CD ballot.
Comments on AP230 should be submitted to Mike Ward at the University of Leeds. Comments should be in the form of issues.
Individual reviewers may generate their own issue numbers. Issues will then be collated and re-numbered by the AP230 team.
The current version number of the AP document is N486. This appears in the header of each page of the current document. Do not confuse this with the version number for the issues log - which also has an N number.
When reviewing AP230 on the web (rather than as a paper document) "page number(s)" should be omitted from the "Clause" field.
The Stage 1 documentation includes IDEF0 diagrams, and the Stage 2 documentation includes graphical EXPRESS-G models. Instructions for reading these diagrams are now available.
