Undergraduate scholarships (2015 entry)

The School of Chemical and Process Engineering offers the following scholarships to attract the very brightest students from around the world.

UK/EU

Dean of Engineering Excellence Scholarship

The Faculty of Engineering is offering scholarships worth up to £4,000 to all new UK/EU rated fee-paying applicants who start an engineering or computing undergraduate degree course at the University of Leeds.
How much is it worth? Up to £4,000 spread over 4 years, subject to satisfactory progression.
Who is eligible? The scholarship is available to UK/EU rated fee paying students who achieve A*A*A at A-level (A2) or equivalent. The grades must be in subjects required for the course. Student must be new to the University and enter onto level 1.
Application deadline No deadline - automatic
Conditions apply Students must achieve a yearly attainment percentage of 60%. The scholarship will be withheld in a year where a student fails to achieve 60%, but will be reinstated the following year if the student's performance recovers to 60% or over.

Head of School Scholarship

The School of Chemical and Process Engineering is offering scholarships worth up to £3,000 to all new UK/EU rated fee-paying applicants who start on
one of our Aviation, Food Process Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or
Nanotechnology degree courses in 2015.
How much is it worth? Up to £3,000 spread over 4 years, subject to satisfactory progression.
Who is eligible? The scholarship is available to UK/EU rated fee paying students who achieve A*AA at A-level (A2) or equivalent. The grades must be in subjects required for the course. Student must be new to the University and enter onto level 1.

International

International Science and Engineering Undergraduate Scholarship

Who is eligible? Any applicant who has been offered a place on any of the undergraduate degree courses within the School of Chemical and Process Engineering.
How are they awarded? This is an automatic scholarship and will take the form of a tuition fee reduction.
How much are they worth? Up to £8,000 spread over 4 years, subject to satisfactory progression.
Application deadline No deadline - automatic
Conditions apply Applicants must be self-funding, new to the University of Leeds, enter onto level 1 and classified as international for tuition fee purposes and not be in receipt of any other University of Leeds award.

Students must achieve a yearly attainment percentage of 60%. The scholarship will be withheld in a year where a student fails to achieve 60%, but will be reinstated the following year if the student's performance recovers to 60% or over.

Self-funding students who successfully complete the International Foundation Year (IFY) at Leeds will also be eligible for this bursary.
