Project Management

Assessment methods vary from module to module, with most modules being assessed through more than one component. These components are made up of formal written examinations, in-class and on-line tests, essays/assignments and example sheets, as well as through coursework in the form of individual and group reports on laboratory work, and design and research projects.

As well was assessing your written presentation skills, your oral skills will also be assessed individually and in groups in formal presentations to staff and other students both in the lecture theatre and at posters that describe your work.

The University has two formal examination periods at the end of the two teaching blocks, although coursework deadlines vary across the teaching weeks, and are staggered to avoid too great a build-up of coursework at any one time.
